This video will describe in stark contrast what separates me from the Dog Whisperer and any other trainer that relies on shock collars, choke collars, prong collars or other forms of correction/punishment to train dogs. It is astounding what I have done with this puppy in terms of offleash training without ever giving her a single  shock or leash correction. Astounding offleash pit bull training! Sure, the big star of “The American Puppy Project” is the puppy dog Jackie Brown, but the kingly and regal looking Kwame Brown was a puppy once too. A WILD puppy. He was abandoned in a park, tied to a bench in Norristown, PA, and left there in a snow storm on a cold January night in 2002. He was found by the dearly departed Chazz (1995-2009). Together, these three dogs Chazz,  Kwame Brown (7) and Jackie Brown (1)were all puppies once. And we will be bringing you footage and pictures from all of their puppyhoods in the ongoing web based American Puppy Project documentary. On that subject, we are super excited to have found a project similar to our own. The DailyCoyote by Shreve Stockton. We purchased the book sight unseen at Borders and recommend that you do too if you are interested in the canine/human connection and the wildness therein.

I have been participating in a forum on the website http://pitbulltalk.com and here is a reproduction of a post I made last night, or early this AM. One country which really scares me is China. Not because of their growing economic or military power, but because of their extreme/extraordinary efforts to impose “order” “control” “obedience” etc…on their population, as well as, of course, their policy of censorship as a way of governing.

Anyway, here is my post from the pitbulltalk.com forum. My philosophy/approach to dealing with dogs is to try as much as humanly possible to NOT control, contain, restrain, have surgery upon, put in a cage or otherwise try to restrict and control canines. That doesn’t mean I don’t want to train them. Of course I do. You can train in a restrictive authoritarian way, or you can do it in a playful and creative way.

Let me tell you the way I would run a forum, were I of the mindset to run one, which I currently am not, hence the happenstance of my arrival here and the ensuing theatrics. Being of a liberal/libertarian bent, the first thing I would do is refrain from instituting authoritarian rule. I would refrain from following every thread and trying to control every poster and threaten them with PMs/consequences if they failed to fall in line.

I similarly refrain from such a modus operandi when I am training or interacting with the domestic canine and let me tell you why if I might?

Because it is this very refraination and disassociation with the traditional orthodoxy of the North American canine trainer/owner which makes me unique and interesting and worth paying attention to, despite the fact that I may engender heartburn in my constituents and/or combatants as a result of my nonorthotic, excuse me non orthodoxic operational stylistics.

But never mind that, as a liberal and liberated free thinking thought maker of thoughts that I have thunk and rethunk as well as others that I have unthunk and debunked, all the while continually conspiring to construct my own interpretational dynamics of every situation and circumstance that I find myself confronted with….

I guess what I’m trying to say here is that Incorrigible creative types throughout history have caused problems for the law and order types, for the police of all kinds, whether thought or law or language or style. There are those and that which favor rigid order and control and are uncomfortable with that and those who may resist the calls to conformity and colonization of the mind.

When you decide to let your mind and your pen run wild in this world, you do so with the full understanding that there are those in this world who will try to control you, ban you, restrict you and restrain you.

I’m sorry, where was I? I’m just rambling on here and I’m sure you all are getting bored.
Here’s where I am….
I’m getting ready to send out a press release about getting banned from YouTube. And I could not have gotten banned from YouTube (for life, no less!) without all of your help and support! And again, as the creative type that I am, I look at my banishment from YouTube as neither a good, nor a bad thing. It is simply a thing, a development that I must react to and react to it I must…the universe has zigged and I must decide whether to zag or do a double zig or something entirely new altogether…

And so it goes…so the world keeps unfolding and we’ve all got things to see and people to do. If for some reason I get banned because of this post, you can catch me on my website.

If not, I may be back to report/converse or interact, once again of my own free will….

YouTube Censors cheerfully asked me if I was happy with their Non Support and Non answer to my question as to why I was banned forever with no explanation.

Here is my response

To ban people from YouTube, essentially forever! with no explanation, no opportunity to dispute, no opportunity to confront the accuser makes me physically ill. If you are going to stifle dissent, stifle creativity, stifle intellectuals, stifle artists, poets and thinkers, then it would have been great if you had not become so powerful and dominant on the internet in the first place.

My whole attitude towards google/youtube and anything else you take over and dominate is completely poisoned.

Once upon a time your motto was “do no evil.” You do evil. A ton of it. You do it in China, you do it in the US, you do it all over the world. Money is your master and you will do evil to do your master’s bidding.

YouTube CensorshipIn the following video, I must have said something about dog fighting that YouTube didn’t like because they cancelled my entire account.

YouTube censors dog expert who talks about dog fights

In the video, I mentioned that I have witnessed dogs fighting to the death. This was one of the dogs. He was fighting to the death until I stopped him using my brilliant methods. And for this, YouTube censors have cancelled my entire account. For telling a story. This Chow was named MeeKim and he lived with another Chow named Tai Tai. I moved into that house with my lab and lab/chesapeake mix and one of the first things I noticed is that a true demon dog lived in that house. The two Chows were fighting so viciously, that they had to be separated at all times or they would fight to the death.

But I changed all that. It took time. These were not my dogs, but since I lived in the same house as them, I had to deal with their behavior because it affected my dogs.

YouTube cancelled my account today (November 5, 2009) after I posted a short video describing my experience with dogs over the past 17 years. Part of that experience involved two chows (not my dogs) who were fighting to the death, or would have fought to the death if I did not use my brilliant methods to stop them. It also described how my lab female Callie, nearly killed one of the chows after it attacked her son, Chazz. I stopped that as well and all the dogs lived happily ever after until old age.

Apparently, even talking about dog fights, which happen all over America, in family households among family pets, is something to be censored by YouTube. But it’s important to talk about it and so we can prevent it from happening, or break up the fights that WILL happen all over America.

I don’t expect a response from YouTube after they cancelled my entire account and all my videos, but I will blog about it here if it happens. I will also post the video in question within the next day, right here on the website.

If anyone reads this.

I would ask you to consider reinstating my account. In the most recent video I posted, I spoke of my experience with dog fighting. I specialize in preventing dog fights and I have used my methods to stop dogs from fighting who were fighting to the death. They did not fight to the death, thanks to me. They were not my dogs. I used my brilliant methods to get them to stop fighting.

I think you have overreacted to a user complaint. Whether we like it or not, dog fights happen all over america, all the time. And it’s usually not pit bulls. It is family pets of any breed.

I am someone who has valuable experience and knowledge in how to stop and prevent dog fights and for some odd reason, you have decided to silence me. Thank you for taking a second look at this. And not just because I went to the same college and had the same track coach as Chad Hurley and ran faster times than him.
